Christy Mahoney, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist since 2002, provides many safe and effective services such as Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, Energy medicine, and Chi Nei Tsang.  Her areas of expertise include fertility, gynecology, chronic and acute pain issues, digestive disorders, and treatment for stress-related imbalances, including but not limited to headaches/migraines, insomnia, anxiety, depression.  Christy is the founder of Dragonwell Chinese Medicine in Oakland, CA.

Healing philosophy

In order to attain and maintain health, every aspect of a person’s life must be considered: current health status, previous health history, lifestyle, diet, stress level, etc. Christy teaches and encourages her patients to be more aware of their body and attuned to how their lifestyle affects their health and quality of life. All of the healing techniques that Christy uses are meant to help her patients understand the process and origin of their imbalances and to help correct them in a holistic way.
